At House of Krauss, we believe in the power of design to drive positive social change. We find never-ending inspiration in the words of Mahatma Gandhi: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

It is humbling to work on an assignment that you know will have a huge social impact, especially in the lives of children. We are honored to have worked with an incredible organization – ArtWorks, The Naomi Cohain Foundation. ArtWorks celebrates the creative spirit of children and young adults battling chronic and life-limiting illnesses.

Founded in 2002, ArtWorks, The Naomi Cohain Foundation is dedicated to improving the healthcare experience of pediatric patients through the arts. ArtWorks provides children and young adults battling chronic and life-limiting illnesses, and their siblings, access to creative and performing arts programs that serve as a vehicle for healing, communication, self-expression and personal development.

House of Krauss is pleased to have created the new identity system for the organization and a responsive new website, in partnership with Demo 38. We believe the new creative direction helps this organization to better communicate their mission of “Art to Heal. Art to Inspire. Art to Empower.”

Cheers!

We always enjoy working with natural-light photographer, Ryan Phillips and his team. For beautiful food photography, you don’t need a lot of lighting equipment. To create a shot that will make your viewer’s stomach start to rumble you only need one diffused light source. Using only one light source creates a natural look with one set of shadows. By changing the direction and intensity of these shadows, you can create countless lighting scenarios that will leave your viewers hungry for more.
